This policy explains what personal data we collect through aeroborn.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who is responsible
Aeroborn BV, Innovation Dock, Scheepsbouwweg 8, 3089 JW Rotterdam, the Netherlands (KVK 78536103) is responsible for this website and the data collected through it. Where your enquiry concerns our work in Greece, we may share it with our sister company Aeroborn S.A., Dimitriou Gounari St. 96, 15125 Amorousion, Greece, which then handles it on the same terms.
Questions about this policy or your data: hello@aeroborn.com.
What we collect and why
When you contact us. The contact form asks for your name, email address, organisation (optional), the topic, the volume you are interested in, and your message. We use these details only to reply to you and to follow up on your enquiry, for example to send a data sheet or arrange samples. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, or taking steps you ask for before entering into an agreement.
When you email us directly. The same applies to anything you send to our email addresses.
When you visit the site. We measure visits with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies and do not identify you. We see totals such as page views, referring websites and country, not individuals. Our hosting provider processes technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, for a short time to deliver the site securely.
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not send newsletters unless you ask for them.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under data processing agreements:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and provides the cookie-free analytics.
- Formspree delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
All fonts, images and video on this site are served from our own domain, so visiting a page does not send your data to other companies.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Links to other websites, such as LinkedIn or event pages in our news, take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and any follow-up, and delete them after 24 months without contact, unless we have entered into an agreement with you, in which case the related records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Email hello@aeroborn.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or, for matters handled by Aeroborn S.A., the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
Changes
We will update this page if the way we handle data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
